The function block is connected via a four-wire cable (shielded) to the automation system. 3 LEDs with the following functions are mounted under a transparent cover:
- Green LED, 24 V DC with applied voltage
- Interior red LED,”DCF data”; data transfer to the automation system
- Exterior red LED “sec”, clock pulse controlled by the atomic clock.
The following data are disposed:
- Minute – hour – calendar day – weekday – month - year
- Automatic changeover from summer time to winter time.
